We’re looking forward to the Edgbaston Arts Forum free event, Arts:)mile, this weekend. ‘On The Edge’ will be bringing 4 professional bands along to Caffe Nero along with a number of young beginner musicians from our music club.
6 September
10-1pm – James Anderson’s Poesic, a spoken word trio with drum and bass, featuring poet Rehema Njambi.
1-4pm – Liam Halloran Trio, a sparkling vibes trio perfect for coffee on a Saturday afternoon.
7 September
10-1pm – James Anderson duo, a chance for budding spoken word artists to drop-in.
1-4pm – Euan Palmer Trio, including trumpeter Sean Gibbs (who performed at the first Arts:)mile).
With ‘On The Edge’ providing a wide range of instruments for young and old to try out and/or jam with the bands. There will be plenty of drop-in workshop opportunities, sign ups for new recruits and information about future ‘On The Edge’ events.
